Flavio Augusto Picchi is a partner at Maia Yoshiyasu Advogados (MYLAW), advising clients in the firm’s Technology and Gaming practice. He has significant experience in domestic and cross-border matters, acting for Brazilian and international companies across the gaming, gambling, betting, entertainment, technology, fintech and digital economy sectors.
Flavio has professional experience in both Brazil and the United States and is recognised as one of the pioneers in providing legal services to start-ups in Brazil. He is frequently engaged in mandates involving market entry, corporate structuring, commercial negotiations and regulatory matters, with a strong focus on fast-moving and highly regulated industries.
He holds an LL.M. in US and International Law from the University of Miami and an MSc in International Law from the University of São Paulo (USP), where he also earned his LL.B. Flavio is a member of the Securities Law Committee of the Federal Council of the Brazilian Bar Association and of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association.
